I as a general store manager have always showed appreciation and gratitude towards my employees. I have always done thank you cards with gift cards inside. Or made special order purchases for shirts hats ect or order food or beverages. Just to say Thank you to my staff and crew. In general and for holidays ect. But I have never had my own boss as long as I’ve been here ever do anything like that for me. It’s crossed my mind several times , is that normal ?
Like for me , I’m always thinking about my staff. I appreciate my staff. I care about my staff. They are giving. I like to occasionally give back. I know they sacrifice. They go above and beyond. So I was just curious about other managers. ( unit managers actions towards them )
