Thank you

I guess I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone here 🙏I have posted a couple of questions during my journey (that has only begun recently, so I’m sure there will be many more to come lol), and those questions have always been answered quickly and honestly and Ive never been made to feel stupid. I have found this group to be full of information and encouragement and I’m super grateful. My journey is going well starting at 93.5kg and was down to 88kg in 3 weeks which I was very happy about but in the last week my weight hasn’t really changed, it’s just been fluctuating between 88.3 and 88.9 and as patience has never been my strong point, I started to get a bit disheartened. But after some wise advice and encouragement from from you, I don’t feel alone, what I’m going through is normal and I feel much better. I understand that this isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon and as long as I have appetite suppression it’s working and I just need to be patient and positive.
So again, thank you for the support and advice 💕💪🙂

Other peoples experience regarding weight loss journey

I finally took the plunge and started my Mounjaro journey. I started 4 1/2 weeks ago at 93.5kg on 2.5mg. Today I weigh 88.5kg. The first couple of weeks I seemed to be losing a couple of kg’s a week and was happy with the progress. But for the last couple of weeks I have stayed at around 88.5kg. Has this happened to anyone else. I’m going to speak to my doctor today but I was wondering if I need to go up. I haven’t had any side effects on 2.5 and it’s obviously more expensive to go up. I REALLY want to lose this weight, I’m so unhappy. I was exited when I finally saw the scale numbers decline after so many years of only seeing them increase, but now I feel a bit confused and defeated. Is it normal to plateau so early?

Hi, I’m a 46 year old female who started putting on weight about 4 years ago due to hormonal changes at my age, food cravings and food noise in my head (especially sweets) and I also have PCOS. I went from a size 10 to a size 18 and I have tried everything but just can’t lose the weight. I hate how I look and feel. It’s affecting my mental health, my sex life and relationship, my physical health. I just want to feel good again and like how I look again 😞I have decided to go on the Mounjaro injections. I was hoping that someone could answer a couple of questions for me and would greatly appreciate if people could share their experience.

•Did it make you feel really sick?

•How much weight have you lost in how much time?

•I had heard that you start on a low dose, but that you cannot stay on a low dose as it is dangerous and also starts to become ineffective, is that true?

•Does it’s slow down or stop that food noise in your head, those food cravings that are nearly impossible to ignore or control?

How much do you pay a month for starting dose on a private script in Australia.? Is CW the cheapest?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience and advice 💕I’m hoping and praying that this will be life changing for me 🙏
