Tarot as the fates (moirai)
I have a Greek mythology themed tattoo sleeve and the inside of my arm is blank. I want to continue Greek mythology but wanted to tie in tarot as well. Which cards can I use to represent the fates? There’s Clotho (the spinner) that spins the thread of fate, Lachesis (the allotter) that measures the thread and decides where it’s cut (end/death), and Atropos (inflexible) that does the actual cutting. So I could do wheel of fortune as a spindle, justice holding the thread, and death for the last, but I wanted to hear some other ideas. This is very much beginning process so I’m open to ideas. I’d like to incorporate cups as I pull a LOT of cup cards but I’m not leaning toward one particular representation over the other. I may consider trying to make the fates look like tarot themselves, just playing around a lot and thought this group might be into that.
