Need some help, 15A fuse getting blown. Debugging help. 2006 v8 Limited AWD
Hey all, need some pointers here I’m trying to debug a fuse getting blown. It’s the 15 amp TRN-HAZ fuse under the engine hood next to the battery.
I replaced it with the spare 15A fuse and it blew again.
My turn signals and hazards don’t work, and no other issues are present from what it seems all the other fuses are good around it.
Here are the exact steps I did after I replaced the fuse.
I switched to my left turn signal, it only went off ONCE, and so I realized there may be some issue there so I quickly switched to the right turn signal which seemed to be fine it kept going. I wanted to dig deeper so I switched back to my left and it went off only ONCE again, and then I think the fuse blew because I went back to the right and it stopped working too and my hazards didn’t work either.
TLDR: I need help debugging what the issue is for my 15A TRN-HAZ fuse blowing. I replaced it with the spare and the left turn signal only worked by blinking ONCE but the right turn signal worked fine it seemed (kept going for about 30-45 seconds no problem).
I also have a trailer wiring thing the previous owner gave me when I purchased it, it’s an electronic braking system? I attached pictures. From a few searches it seems that the trailer wiring harness could also be causing it?
