Curious..if you live in an apartment here in Plano,How much is your electric bill this month? Im with just energy and my August bill is $608.
3bedroom.
KWH usage is 3,459

So I know we get a lot of these but here we go.

I haven’t had dental insurance…ever…and I finally have it. I’ve neglected my teeth because of that and because I was an addict. Well I wanna take care of my dental stuff now.

I still have all my teeth and they’re still pretty good looking…except I have a horrible toothache from a cavity that formed next to my wisdom tooth.m (that has been extracted.)

I need to get it taken care of because the pain is unbearable. I am looking just looking for a trustworthy place that won’t take advantage of me because I’m sure there is plenty of work to be done. I just fear being judged I don’t know why…but I am in so much pain right now to the point where I almost relapsed just to get relief ugh. But I won’t. I just need recommendations.

Also I need help fast and tomorrow is Friday so I’m afraid I won’t be seen quick enough.

I have delta dental if that means anything.

long story short, just had my first miscarriage which led to a d&c and it was pretty traumatic for me.
partially because of the type of care i got from my doctor/the staff at the previous place I was using.
i’m healing and wanting to start looking for new OB’s in the area.

also if anyone has dealt with a miscarriage and did blood work before trying again, who did you use for that and what did you ask for?

This was my first pregnancy and it was a surprise so I don’t know a lot about the OB world and didn’t know much about miscarriages so this is all new to me and I feel so lost trying to figure out where and what to do next.

This may be old news for people in East Plano, but if you have been driving to Allen or West Plano to get your HEB fix, Murphy is probably closer. I knew it was being built but thought it wasn't opening for a few months. It's packed with people wanting to see the new place. Hopefully it will slow down a little. On the other hand, if it stays packed, maybe HEB will open a store in East Plano.

New to Plano just wondering what is there to do here ? Anything going on this month or next ?

I am looking for suggestions for small book stores, not large chains - that I can use as part of a first date. Doesn’t have to be Plano but I got some good ideas for the first date here!

So who else is contacting administration tonight over the busing/ split campus situation? My kid’s last period teacher called all the kids who have been late to her class-which, since it’s in H building, is over half the class. She then proceeded to threaten with failing them for repeated absences-for being ten minutes late or more.

I’m sorry, but when you tear up the campus, don’t provide a connecting shaded walkway in the Texas heat and sun and provide insufficient busing between campuses, of course kids are going to be late. I’m not usually the parent who complains to the school over every little thing, but it’s beyond insane for the school to create a problem, provide insufficient solutions, then take it out on the students.

ETA: School just sent out an email clarifying that students won’t be punished academically for tardies/missed class time due to transportation and construction issues. Guess I wasn’t the only parent who complained.

Is it any decent?

Just starting the process of looking to add a pool to our backyard but I have a large beautiful Live Oak tree that would partly overhang over the pool. Can trim the tree back, but looking for advice or real life experiences from people who have a pool next to a Live Oak? What is maintenance like during the bi-annual leaf and acorn droppings? TIA.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has experience shadowing a doctor in Plano and how did you guys go about it. I cold called a few and nobody really reached back out to me. Are there any clinics that are really open to students looking to shadow in Plano?

Just moved to Plano (by Plano west high school) and need a new nail salon. All the reviews I see online are horrible! Any recs? I’m okay driving 15 minutes or so.

They started selling this new cannabonoid free vape at bahama mama and supposedly its suppose to get you high without the thc or delta 9 etc. is this legal k2 or spice?? I feel a bit off after smoking it.
