New to crypto and have a little cash to invest. So far, I’ve narrowed it down to about five but I’m probably going to invest in evenly. However, H bar keeps popping up and a lot of the research that I’m doing. I really like how they’re not focused on the noise or the influencers, they just seem to be grinding away behind the scenes and building a very solid infrastructure amongst institutional players. But I still don’t fully understand how it works.
There are a few guys on YouTube I like listening to (Paul Barron, Crypto Sensei). But even Crypto Sensei seems to post a lot of hype and hopeium. I follow Eleanor Terrott on X and she’s really good for White House and breaking news. Beyond that I haven’t found anyone else with good credible info.
Let me clarify. My life is pretty good when I zoom out and take a look at it overall. I have a good job. A great family. Kids and safe and happy. Everyone is healthy. Only stress is the normal day to day stuff. But as I’ve gotten older (45), I lost my internal fire for certain things that used to really charge me up. It’s like I’ve been grinding so hard for many years now that I’ve kind of forgotten who I was. I used to be a social person. Loved going to live sporting events. Would accept almost any invite to a party or to hang. Now I’m picky. I barely ever want to do anything except my normal routine. Gym, work, sleep, etc. I get cranky if my schedule gets interrupted by anything like a work trip, a kids schedule change that involves me, or holidays that throw off my schedule. I barely ever watch sports anymore, hate getting invited to weddings or social hangs, and have just become sort of grumpy. All I think about is hitting my FU number so I can walk away from work and literally retire and do nothing. How do I get my spark back? I’m not lazy by any means. I work out every morning. I never miss work. I handle all my responsibilities.
Is this just part of getting old or am I truly losing my spark?

Thinking of selling my home but the thought of giving away 6% isn’t sitting well with me. My home should sell somewhere for around $2million, so we are talking over $100K in commissions.
Over the course of the past 3 years I’ve experienced almost every emotion regarding crypto. Hope, excitement, fear, greed, fomo, hopelessness, etc. At this point my original thesis and reasoning for getting into crypto is a distant afterthought. At this point I’m just curious to see what happens if/when Clarity Act passes. Just give us the opportunity……I don’t care if it goes up or down. Just let us see!!!!
Just saw where Trump decided not to veto the new housing bill and now it’s officially law. Anyone think there were some back channel deals made related to passing Clarity?

Wife and I like to stay at the Four Seasons when we travel. Lately I’ve noticed when I’m randomly walking through the hotel, staff members will address me by name and say hello. At first it was shocking—like how does this random maid on a totally different floor know my name. So I ask you guys—is there like a CRM all staff use with guest descriptions and pictures? PS…we are very low key so there isn’t some sort of interaction we have had that would alert staff that we are a problem or a VIP or anything special.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I mean, I know it’s pretty obvious that people at the very top have millions if not billions of hbar. But what about the senior executives and the mid-level managers? I’m guessing that like any other startup, they are partially paid in equity of whatever they are building. So in essence if this thing moonshots, how rich could they possibly get?
