I'm taking the LSAT tomorrow!

I don't think I'll make my target score, but aside from that I'm feeling pretty good. I only had a month and a bit to prepare, and working full time it was a bit of a challenge to find time especially for the full tests, but once I understood the test format honestly it became kind of fun (famous last words lol). I'm also in a way glad that I don't think I'll hit my target score because I just paid for my CAS and emailed my recommenders ANYWAY.

Anyone else in the August session here?

Hit my goal score on a PT!

I feel so pumped after plateauing for the past couple of weeks! I was thinking of pushing my Aug test date to Sept because I wasn't pulling the numbers I needed, but maybe now we're back to plan A. Hopefully this isn't a fluke!

discord for non-trad applicants?

Hey all, I don't totally believe it, but I did just pay my LSAT registration, so I guess I'm applying this coming cycle??? Anyway, I wanted to ask if there's a discord specifically for non-trad applicants around? I'm also down to create one if not, if there's interest. But I figured it would be good to have a space to chat and support each other through this whole thing.

Any other non-trads here?

Hello folks, I've read some of the non-trad threads around reddit, but was hoping to connect with some current non-trad applicants or past successful/unsuccessful ones and hear y'all's opinions on my situation!

About me: 2015 grad, 3.5x GPA, 8 years of work experience in energy/infrastructure/climate/sustainability both policy and project finance/lender support work, non-URM. I want to pivot to the legal side of what I'm already doing (so, environmental law or doing legal for project finance, infrastructure deals, etc). I think my softs are T3ish per LSD, but I also feel like it's cringe for a 30-something to be talking about their college athletics career, so idk. No LSAT currently, but taking my first practice test TOMORROW omg. Planning to apply T14+Georgetown and schools in my metro area; not really interested in getting a bunch of loans for a mid school.

I feel like a lot of law admissions resources presume K-JD, so the insights are harder to apply to my situation, but maybe I'm overthinking it. Have folks had luck paying for an admissions consultant or is it not super helpful?
