Hey girls,

I'm looking for recommendations for a really good hair salon.

Almost every year I get my hair permanently straightened. The results are always great in the long run, after the first couple of months, my hair looks and feels amazing for the rest of the year. But every time I do it, I experience a lot of hair shedding, and my hair gets extremely greasy for the first month or two.

I'm wondering if there are other smoothing or straightening treatments that are less damaging and don't cause as much hair loss. Has anyone switched to something else and had a better experience?

I'd really appreciate any salon or treatment recommendations. Thanks! 💕

انا بنت، عمري ٢٧ سنة. ما بيجيني عرسان كثير يا دوب، لانه معارف أهلي محدودة، واهلي منفصلين، ويبدو انه هاد الموضوع بخلي ناس تتردد.

كل مرة كان يجي حدا بالقعدة الاولى، كانت الامور تبين طبيعية، وبعدها ما بصير اي تواصل. ماما كانت دايما تحكيلي إنه طلاقهم ما اله علاقة، لانها كانت تخبر اهل العريس من البداية، ولو عندهم مشكلة ما كانوا اجوا اصلا. لكن اخر شب اجاني كان عن طريق زميلتي، ومن خلالها عرفت إنه السبب الحقيقي كان فعلا طلاق أهلي.

السنة الماضية تعرفت على شب، وحبينا بعض، وتقدملي، وكملنا سنة كاملة مع بعض، لكن بالنهاية ما صار نصيب وافترقنا.

بصراحة انا وصلت لمرحلة يأس. انا اكبر وحدة بين بنات العمومة، وكل اللي اصغر مني تزوجوا وخلفوا، ما شاء الله.

انا مؤمنة انه كل واحد اله وقته ورزقه، وبحاول اذكر حالي بهالحكي، لكن كل شهرين او ثلاثة بحضر كتب كتاب، او خطبة، او عرس، او ولادة، وصرت احس قلبي عم يتقطع يادوب بكون ماسكة دمعتي بالحفلة. حالتي النفسية تعبانة على الاخر، وبضل اقول "ما شاء الله" لانه بخاف حتى احسدهم بالغلط، والله بتمنالهم كل الخير.

انا اصلا من اول تعبانه كتير من مشاكل عائلية وغيره، ومو الزواج نفسه الي بدي اياه بدي احب واجيب واجيب اطفال. انا بشتغل معلمة ويمكن اترك الشغل بس عشان ابطل اشوف الاطفال.

Hey everyone,

I’m in a long distance relationship, my bf is in the USA and I’m in Jordan.

The original plan was for him to come to Jordan and we get married and live in Jordan or any country that has an easier visa process. But complications came up — he can’t leave the US because there are issues with his travel documents (he is a refugee with a green card), so now I have to go to him.

The issue is that US visas are a hassle and very hard to get, so I don’t really know what realistic options I have.

Do you have any advice on what I could do in this situation or what paths people usually take in cases like this? A fast route preferably

I moved to the USA about 13 years ago and currently have a Green Card. I now want to travel outside the US, but I can’t because my Egyptian travel document has expired.

When I went to the Egyptian embassy to renew it, they told me I first need a “proof that I do not hold any passport" The issue is they refuse to explain where exactly to get this document from.

I have already applied for a “letter of no record / certificate of non-existence,” but it’s taking a very long time, and I’m stuck in the meantime.

Has anyone dealt with something similar (especially with Egyptian travel documents for Palestinian refugees or embassy requirements like this)?

Any advice on how to speed this up or alternatives I might not know about?
