Back to playing accordion after 19 years

Back to playing accordion after 19 years

I studied button accordion (bayan) at music school but haven’t played it after graduating 19 years ago. This year I felt the desire to get back to this instrument, and just yesterday I bought myself a beautiful Excelsior Eminent 921 (most likely from the 90s). I adore the looks, feel, and sound, but my fingers definitely need many drills to get back to the level I once had:)

New tyres - Vittoria Terreno T70

I’ve ordered a new wheelset and decided to keep my old wheels with some heavy offroad tyres (my main tyre is Michelin Power Adventure) to bomb technical singletracks. Went with Vittoria Terreno T70 and I love how they look on the bike, this weekend I’m gonna try them out in the wilds 🤘

Took my gravel bike on a trail

I've recently had a fun ride on a singletrack trail (rated blue) on my Origine Graxx with 36mm Michelin power adventure tyres. It was definitely underbiking, but very fun!

I walked a few descents where it was too scary to ride (the grade was up to 42% with roots) and didn't actually do full sends on other descents, rather going carefully with the brakes on, because of that it was really challenging to pedal up the hills without the momentum, so I managed to finish only half the route (10 km out of 21 km) before I got tired and headed home - will definitely come back to finish the route.
