Pretty in Pink: Alien vs. Triangle

First time ever seeing pink pistils. They are so vibrant! I’ve heard AVT can show this trait. What’s the science behind it? Does it have any noticeable effects compared to regular colored pistils?

Forgot about this bag, it's been 2 months since inoculation. What to do?

So I inoculated with LC golden teacher back in like April. Totally forgot about the bag and it's been a few months. Took a long time to get colonized but it finally did. I remembered about it today and went to grab the bag to put it into my Boomr Bin and noticed that it's already got shrooms growing in it!

Should I leave it be and ride it out in the bag or should I still try and mix it in with the dung loving subtrate into the bin?

Is she close? Also, is this bud rot potentially?

Zkittelz, Day 70. I don’t want a complete couch locking effect on the final product so I don’t wanna wait until there’s a ton of amber. Think I can harvest atleast the top cola now or in a few days? Also, one branch I’m worried might be the looks of the rot. But not sure because I’ve never had to deal with it before. Let me know your thoughts and what you would do! Cheers.

My solution for protection from Mother Nature!

You all may remember me as the guy freaking out about my buds getting wet the other week...lol. Well I got tired of stressing so I rolled up my sleeves and built a custom lean-to rain cover structure for my girls! It only took one day including a trip to Home Depot for the lumber. It’s been holding up in 10-15 mph winds today so far. Not sure if the plastic will withstand 20+ but I got extra to repair if needed. This gives them the sun they need and keeps them dry from the rain and any humidity and moisture over night. Added in a $30 amazon fan to keep the air flowing too. And used some left over lattice for some extra privacy and aesthetic. Gonna plant a passion fruit vine and let it crawl up to make it extra sexy and green on the outside 😎
Just a few more weeks and I should be able to start chopping 3 of the 12 I got going, hopefully.

Lemme know what yall think!

So close. It’s hard to wait.

About to go on a 4 day trip on Friday. Entrusting the care to my neighbor friend. Hoping to come back next week and maybe harvest one of the three top colas? I want to make sure I atleast get something. With the rain, humidity and hot weather I’m feeling like I could lose it all in the next week if I’m not careful. Am I being too dramatic? 😂 ahhhhh I can’t wait to enjoy her!

Day 50 from sprout. First 2 are Zkittelz, and last one is Grandaddy. All Autos. All grown outdoors from seed day 1. 3 gal pots. No LST, just simple defoliation here and there. Basic synth nutrients from fox farm throughout the lifecycle. Coco Loco soil. FL sunshine.
Give me your best guesses on time left and expected quantity if I continue on the same path! Make it a game, I know they ain’t ready lol. But I’m pretty proud to have gotten this far!

Edit: I know plants get water on them kids. I have been researching cannabis bud rot and mold issues as of lately since we are going into rainy season here and just wanted to get some extra opinions since I’m so close to the end of flowering

In South Florida, last night around 3:30am a random downpour happened. My 3 girls that are in week 3-4 of flowering got soaked on for about 20 minutes. Woke up and immediately put the leaf blower on them, they are now in the direct sun hopefully drying out quick. Am I screwed or is one time of rain okay? I’ll be moving them under my tent canopy every night going forward since the weather pattern is now changing. Outside humidity is in the high 70s currently. Anything else I can do to help avoid rot?

My first 3 ladies should be ready for harvest towards the end of this month so I am starting to plan for the next step of drying.

I live in a RV trailer in Southwest FL. I do not have a garage or anything like that I can use. I do have a small area in the back of my RV (last picture, don't mind the mess) that is really just storage. I'm wondering if this would be suitable as my drying area.

The only concern is that we are going into summer and temps outside will be 90° on average, and inside my RV it doesn't get below 75 during the day (1pm-6pm) even with the AC blasting. That's not ideal for drying right? RH I can control, and it's usually in the optimal range inside around this time of year anyways. I'm also considering smell factor.. I don't mind, and I don't have to worry about neighbors, but will it just reek up my entire RV and stick into everything for a long time afterwards?

So with all that in mind...I'm considering buying a wine cooler to use as the drying space. Looks like people have had good success with that, and it's not super expensive.

Would that be my only real other option to ensure the highest quality of buds during the process of drying? Any other grand ideas on how to control temp?

Let me know if you have any thoughts or past experiences to share!

Cheers budsters.
