How can I use a vampire to represent characters guilt of their past?
I want to write a story about a character who, while visiting a friend/family member in the hospital, is forced to confront the guilt of her past after a vampire gains entry into and wreaks havoc in the hospital. I got this idea while visiting someone in the hospital today. I want the vampire to somehow remind her of her past/use her past against her in order to manipulate her, and she must come face to face with her guilt. how can I use the vampire/the vampire theme to do this?
