Pins?
This will be my first HHN, and I was just looking at the merchandise site. I don’t see any pins. Do they usually have pins for the IPs? I’m guessing it’s something they will have in the stores even if they aren’t online?

Do you have a favorite RIP guide? Someone who loves getting the group pumped up, or someone full of fun trivia, etc.? I’ve read that I can email VIP services to request a specific guide for a public tour?
On the same note, are there any guides you would recommend skipping?
I’m planning to make a bunch of bracelets and keychains for my public RIP group. Is it common for others to bring trinkets to hand out to the group?
Trying to plan logistics also. Would it be okay for me to hand out bracelets before each house, maybe while the guide is explaining the house? I would prefer to hand them out throughout the night rather than all upfront, but I don’t want to be disruptive if we are on a tight schedule of if it’s discouraged. Thanks!
Hello! This will be my first trip to Orlando, and I just invested in two annual passes when I saw that it would save a lot (about $800!) on our hotel room/vacation package. I will be there for HHN in September.
What perks/benefits do I need to know about? Do all restaurants and merch qualify for the AP discount? Are there special lounges or entrances? Freebies? Best times of year to visit as an AP who doesn’t do well in the heat?
I got the mid-tier two-park pass, but it won’t be active until we visit in September, so I couldn’t use the discount on my HHN or Epic tickets, for example.
Hello! Planning my first trip to Orlando ever for September. Two older/mid age adults and no kids. I planned a lot of mid-day breaks because we aren’t high energy and won’t be able to do all day long without respite and would prefer smaller 3 or 4 hour blocks of activity. Staying at Hard Rock for six nights.
I am looking for any feedback/suggestions/tips in my itinerary. Everything I’ve planned so far has been based off this subreddit and the Epic one, and you have all been very helpful. I appreciate the enthusiasm in this community.
Tickets: 7 day park to park. Express unlimited through hotel. Two days Epic express. (Debating upgrading to VIP for one day, but not sure it’s worth the expense?) RIP tour.
Tuesday: Arrive late afternoon. Uber to Hard Rock to drop off bags. Shuttle to Epic for dinner at Pizza Moon and a ride on Monsters Unchained.
Wednesday: Two park VIP tour. Dinner at Toothsome and shopping at City Walk.
Thursday: Epic Day 1. Early entry. Start with Super Nintendo World before knocking out Battle at the Ministry with Express. Lunch at Le Gobelet. Mid day hotel break, return in evening for dinner at Toadstool Cafe and power up bands.
Friday: Early start at Studios with slow pace. Lunch at Simpsons Food Court. Nap at hotel. RIP tour at 6:30. Dinner at HHN.
Saturday: Sleep in. IoA at slow pace. Light lunch at Green Eggs and Ham. Hotel break. Dinner at Mythos. Try to ride Hagrid’s before close. Chill in the pool.
Sunday: Epic Day 2. Early park entry for Berk/Toothless. Lunch at Das Stakehaus. Hotel break mid day to pack up and rest. Return in evening for dinner at The Blue Dragon. Use express to knock out Battle at the Ministry, Stardust Racers, and Carousel after dark. Stay until closing show.
Monday: Departure in the morning.
If you had to plan and three dinners and two lunches (no seafood) at Epic, what would you choose?
I have **The Blue Dragon** and **Pizza Moon** in my “definite dinner” category. I’m leaning toward making **Toadstool Cafe** my third dinner since it likely won’t be as crowded in the evening and we for sure want to try it. (Originally planned for lunch.)
For lunches, I can’t quite narrow it down. Short list includes **Cafe L’air, Le Gobelet Noir, and Das Stakehaus**
Do I have a solid list and am I overlooking any hidden gems?
This will be my first trip, and I’ll be carrying a Loungefly type bag for 5 days. It’s filling up quickly. Which of these will benefit me most in hot weather, and which will I regret lugging around? Can’t fit all 3 without overstuffing my bag.
Tevas (in case shoes get wet or feet need a break)
Small-ish umbrella (Will have a poncho and neck fan, but scared of the Sun)
Windbreaker (I don’t want to get chilly in the AC)
As a first time visitor, would you rather have:
**Two-park VIP tour** followed by **two days of Epic express**; or
**One day of Epic VIP** and **one day of Epic Express**. **No VIP at the older parks**, but will have **Express Unlimited** and two days to devote to older parks.
The cheaper option is to do the two park VIP combined with two days Epic Express, which I already have booked. I also like the idea of being guided rather than having to choose where to go myself, which makes me inclined to choose the two-park VIP. Seems easier to navigate Epic on my own than the other two parks.
So which would you choose? (I will also be doing an RIP tour in between the two Epic days.)
I saw that there are usually express unlimited passes available for purchase the day of the event if you already have an express pass and that they run around $40 or so.
If I already bought an RIP tour (non private), could I buy the $40 upgrade to express unlimited, or would I need to buy a separate express pass to repeat favorite houses? One seems worth it and the other not so much.
I bought two days of Epic express for late summer/early fall. I’m thinking I might skip the early morning stuff and just show up around 11:00 each morning for early lunch and then stay until close so I can enjoy dinners after dark, lower crowds, and a break from the sun.
How would you personally plan/use two days of express in this situation? Is it a good idea for me to show up late with the intent not to do any standby? How many hours would it realistically take to hit all 11 rides with express?
I’ll be happy to ride each ride once (on each day) with express and consider re-rides a happy bonus. I want to do meet and greets and see a show. I can’t handle being at the park all day in the heat, but I want to be there at night until close for sure. Would appreciate any advice on how to plan as this will be my first trip.
