LOR attending not responding

I am in a very difficult position right now. Just like everyone I went to the US for my electives and observerships. All my attendings were very nice to me and told me to stay in contact when I was leaving. I did pretty well. There was never a problem and they all appreciated me. So I asked for an LOR towards the end of my rotation. A bit of a background, I am from a middle class background, first person in family to even sit on a plane. My father had to sell his car and engagement ring to send me to the US. It killed me but I had hoped that it was gonna be worth it in the end. Now that it is time to apply one of my attending has ghosted 2 emails of mine. I am really anxious and can’t sleep or eat. I can’t bear the look on my father’s face he’s so hopeful. If not for me I wanted to match for him. He has given up his whole life for me. I have done well on my tests and have good scores but i was really looking forward to this LOR. My problem is that okay fine you don’t want to write me an LOR it’s okay but why did you have to lie to my face, I could’ve looked for something else while i was there in the US. Now that i am back home i cannot afford to go back and what’s killing me even more is that everything my dad sold for me and spent his hard earned money on me so that i could achieve my dream was for nothing.

This attending gave me his phone number. Was so so kind to me during my rotation i could have never believed he would ghost me at such a critical time. So my question now is that i have already emailed her twice should i keep emailing her every week and send a message on her number. it’s really important to me. I wanna give it my all

attending not replying to email

Hi guys, I’m honestly a bit panicking right now and could really use some advice.
I have exactly 3 LORs planned. I did 3 observerships and spoke with each of my attendings about getting an LOR. Since we’re getting closer to September, I recently started messaging my attendings to follow up.
Two of them have already replied, but one of them hasn’t responded yet. It’s only been 2–3 days, but she usually replies within a day, so I’m starting to get worried.
Should I be concerned, or am I just overthinking this? 😅
Also, when would be a good time to send her a follow-up email? Should I wait a few more days, maybe a week?
And if she still doesn’t reply after the follow-up, what would be the best next step? I don’t really have another LOR option lined up, so I’m a little stressed about it.
Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Would really appreciate hearing what you guys did. Thanks!

exam in a week. biostats advice

Hi guys! Any advice for getting better at biostats in the last week?
My exam is in a week, and I'm scoring around my target overall. I've noticed that most of the points I'm losing are from biostats.
For the life of me, I just can't seem to get a handle on these concepts. It honestly feels like I'd need to go back to school for a couple of years before I'd understand them. Every question is a totally different concept. As soon as I see a biostats question, my brain just shuts off.
The rest of the knowledge based questions I can usually reason through, but biostats is a completely different story.
For those of you who struggled with biostats but eventually got comfortable with it, what helped? Any resources, strategies, or ways of thinking about the questions that finally made things click?
Thanks in advance!

organ donation

A 40 year old man declared brain dead. History of HTN. Blood cultures 24 hours before death are positive for bacteraemia but currently febrile. What is the most appropriate decision regarding organ donation?

A. Proceed with organ donation of all organs
B. Proceed with donation after antibiotics
C. Defer organ donation due to active infection

Chatgpt says A is correct but according to amboss any bacteremia/sepsis is an absolute contradiction for organ donation. Anyone knows how to go about this question? Thanks in advance!
