What's the best way to maintain a pair of heavily tooled leather boots like this "Black Jack El Patron Mahogany and Black" pair I have? My usual cheapo method of cleaning and rubbing in some lotion once a year seems risky with all these nooks and crannies. These are way more expensive boots than I am used to, and I really want to keep them nice for a long time. I'm worried about them molding from too much moisture or cracking from not enough. Advice from folks who have dealt with something like these?
