I’m about to finish my bachelors degree, and would like to enter in a program to become an elementary teacher following graduation.

Three years ago I was convicted of a wet and reckless. Would this affect my chances of becoming a teacher, or even substitute teacher?

I did apply to be a substitute teacher in my district in order to gain some experience and a learn about teaching in different grades. I disclosed the wet and reckless on my application. I’m also debating on emailing the hiring manager with expressed interest. Would you consider this a good idea, and if so, should I mention the conviction in my email as well?

Hey all! I manage a bike rental shop with very high output. Because of this, our shock pumps break within about 4-6 weeks of use. I know they aren’t intended to be used as heavily/as often as we use them, but I’m looking to see if anyone has a recommendation for a good, sturdy pump that will last. We have used digital rock shox, digital/non digital fox. Anything helps!
