Tied the Alberta record for perch.
Just wondering if the lore is true, big fish don’t get up votes, just average walleye 👉🏻👈🏻

After work trips are hard to beat. Decided to sneak out for a few hours and the fish were cooperating. Managed a handful of walleyes and a nice pike while enjoying calm water and some beautiful Alberta skies.
Nothing fancy just good company, bent rods, and a reminder that sometimes a quick evening on the lake is all you need.
🎣 Tight lines everyone!
First week of June was pretty successful for filling tags. Managed to sneak out for an after work trip and an early Saturday morning run. Rods were constantly bending, which always makes for a great time and even better company.
The boys are happy, the freezer is getting a little fuller, and there were plenty of laughs along the way.
Hoping I can sneak out to a new lake after work this week and see if I can track down a few trophies. Tight lines everyone! 🎣
Three trips out fishing in May and we haven’t found the monsters yet, but that’s part of the fun. Hoping June is the month we finally connect with a few big ones.
No electronics on the boat, so we’re doing it the old fashioned way, watching the wind, covering water, and learning the lake.
We filled our tags and the boys absolutely love a good walleye fry. I could probably be happy with catch and release, but seeing them excited to catch fish and then enjoy them for supper makes it pretty hard not to keep a few eaters.
Here’s hoping June brings some bigger fish and a few memories we’ll be talking about for years. Tight lines! 🎣
