Image 1 — Bear isn’t the villain. Never in the entire movie did he place his pinky on the side of the lip and smiled in an evil manner. There for he is not the villain. He is a saint.

The main reason why Bear isn’t the villain is because he never does an evil laugh in the film. Usually villains go “muahahaha” but he never does that. In fact, you know who does? That’s right. Nikki goes “muahahahaha” in the party scene. So Nikki is the villain and Bear is the hero of Obsession.

Folks I just realized Bear isn’t the villain. Throughout the entire movie, he never explained his evil villain plan to any of the characters of the movie while twisting his mustache hair. Therefore in conclusion at the end of the day, he is actually the hero.

Bear literally could’ve just moved to another state to get away from Nikki. Hell, he could’ve moved to another country even. There’s at least 2 other countries he could’ve moved to and he chose to stay in the one that Nikki was in. Is he lazy?

After so many rewatches, I just can’t believe Curry got THE Beyoncé to be in his first theatrically released movie. I wonder how he did it. Bravo Barker 🙏

Libraries are beautiful

Sitting in a library right now.

The quiet is so peaceful, especially after a difficult week.

It feels so much like a place to heal even though it’s meant to learn if you have that need to broaden your knowledge.

But at the base of it, there’s just such a noticeable difference in going from the chaos of life to the serenity of being surrounded by books and people who respect each other’s study time.

Thank god for libraries.
