Am I bow legged?

Am I bow legged?

When i stand for a bit of time my knees and ankles hurt a lot, i also get lower back pain. Is my assumption that the shape of my legs are the cause? I got insoles for my shoes as i have a mild overpronation and a really high foot arch, which helped ease the pain but not completely

I can’t make basmati rice

i’ve followed every recipe, but when I make any rice, it comes out wet and mushy. I wash it, i do a 2:1 ratio, i boil it, i lower the heat, i cover it and then wait. And it comes out all sticky and mushy :c

Post Surgery Edema

My mom just had a second surgery. The first one she removed a 7cm meningioma, woke up fine after but lost her sense of smell. In april she got told she had 4 new meningiomas and would have to do surgery again.

After this surgery though her brain swelled and was put in an induced coma for a week. By the second week they started waking her up. She cant move her right arm properly, she struggled to breathe on her own for a couple of days because her vocal chords wouldn’t open but they managed to eventually. Currently she cannot speak and she was transferred from ICU to a normal room.

She is so upset, she is crying all the time and throwing tantrums by tossing her arm and legs because it’s all she can do. It’s so hard for me to see her in this state. I don’t know how to help her or what to say to cheer her up. She was so scared of doing the surgery because she had already lost her sense of smell, what if she lost something else and she was scared of what would happen to her if she didn’t go she went through with the surgery. I’m trying to look up information of other people who were in the same situation and got better, idk… im just lost
