No idea what to do with my life right now

I'm 27, spaniard living in my country.

I studied programming and worked at a company for two years before starting a degree in Computer Engineering in 2022 (yes, right when the AI boom began).

In 2025, I started looking for a job because I couldn't afford my final year of university (due to family circumstances). I was hired after nearly eight months, but I only lasted three.

I had to pay for surgery for one of my dogs, and my cat developed kidney failure, so I asked if I could work from home. They gave me permission (I even said if it isn't possible I would stay at office), but two weeks later they called me into the office and ended up firing me.

Since then, I’ve been looking for work without success, and I’m starting to consider working in other sectors.

Should I just go work in the mines or head to Norway to look for a job in the oil industry?

At this age I feel embarrased living with my parents and no social life.
