if third-party smart rings already work with Apple Health, what am i waiting for?
another Apple Ring rumor popped up right in the middle of my shortlist, and it immediately made the rings that already exist feel weirdly temporary.
The problem is that i'm not even sure what the rumored Apple version would need to do for waiting to make sense. tighter integration sounds good, but "maybe Apple eventually makes one" is not much of a buying plan.
Circul came up while i was checking the current third-party options. it already fits into the Apple Health setup i use without a rebuild blood oxygen syncs too, since the last update. at this point i care less about the spec sheet and more about whether anything else on my shortlist does the same.
what would actually justify waiting for Apple here? something genuinely different about the hardware, a much tighter ecosystem experience, or simply knowing Apple made the whole thing?
if a third-party ring already covered what you wanted from Apple Health, would the possibility of an Apple version still stop you from buying it?
