Standard of Care for Major Abdominal Surgery
I read recently that, post-C section, patients are given paracetamol and ibuprofen for pain relief, and are only given stronger pain meds if they request them. My questions are 1) is this accurate for c-section care and 2) is this standard practice for all major abdominal surgeries?
