DISCLAIMER: ANNESLEY JADE

Hi everyone, I’m Vivian, owner of Annesley Jade (https://ebay.us/m/BGyG4R). Recently, two negative posts in this community questioned the authenticity of my jade pieces. To address these concerns responsibly, I submitted all relevant items to Mason Kay, and every single piece came back as Type A — natural, untreated, authentic jade.

The spread of misinformation online has certainly affected my retail business, but I am deeply grateful to my wholesale partners, loyal customers, and the testing lab for their support. The lab even offered me significant discounts on these expensive tests, and I truly appreciate their trust.

There is an old Chinese saying: “温润如玉 — as warm and gentle as jade.”
As jade lovers, we should embody that spirit: humility, warmth, and respect. Someone being new or unfamiliar does not mean their jade is fake. Let’s keep this community a place for learning, not a place for web bullying.

I stand firmly behind my work: my entire store — not just part of it — sells natural, authentic, untreated jade. My mission has always been to bring good‑quality jade to people at accessible prices. I welcome discussion through eBay DM, which is the platform I actively monitor. I will not continue responding publicly to escalating comments — I do not want to dig myself deeper into unnecessary conflict.

Case References & Resolutions

Summary:
I overlooked a line on a bangle. Once the buyer returned the item, I issued a full refund (item + return shipping) even before the return was delivered back to me.
The buyer also questioned whether the piece was Type A. The Mason Kay report confirms it is Type A.

I appreciate this buyer raising the issue — it helped me improve. I now include additional inspection annotations in my product photos.

Summary:
This buyer insisted the piece was fake nephrite, even after I provided educational material on river‑pebble nephrite, including its natural skin and dent signatures.
The Mason Kay report confirms it is natural nephrite.

3. Additional Item Questioned After Rumors Spread

A third item in my eBay store was questioned due to online fermenting. This jadeite piece has a rare natural pattern, and again, the Mason Kay report confirms authenticity.

Closing Message

I remain committed to transparency, education, and integrity.
I hope this community can return to being a place where jade lovers learn from one another — 温润如玉, warm and gentle like jade itself.

The most awkward situation in my selling experience

I once sold a very high‑quality Xinjiang river‑pebble seed‑jade bracelet with rare blue skin. The buyer received it and almost immediately requested a return.

Her two claims were:

  1. She said the natural “dent” — the signature river‑pebble skin cut that indicates genuine river tumbling — meant the jade was “too soft” and therefore likely serpentine.
  2. She said the jade was “too clean” to be nephrite.

I responded with multiple messages including educational references, explanations, and even suggested a simple home gravity test. I also encouraged her to take it to GIA. I told her clearly:
If GIA finds it to be anything other than natural nephrite, I will pay 10× the purchase price, plus the testing fee and all shipping costs.

After that, she never replied, nor did she retract the return request.

I am always honest and I guarantee that everything I sell is natural, untreated nephrite, jadeite, or Nanhong agate. This situation was extremely awkward because I provided full transparency and even offered a 10× guarantee, yet the buyer simply disappeared.
