I think I've been injecting air
I have been on Semaglutide since beginning of February. I didn't realize that I'm supposed to tilt the vial to fill the shot when pulling the plunger back. I would put the needle in while the vial was upright and pointing the needle straight down, and pull it back. I did it just like it looks in the how-to video. The needle stopped reaching the liquid in the vial after a while.... so I think I've been injecting air this whole time.
I've never given myself a shot before and I am terrified when I have to get them at the doctor's. All of this was new to me even if it was obvious to everyone else. I watched the videos and read all the info but missed understanding about ensuring the needle was getting filled. I'm so irritated about this.
Worried if I did this it's going to cause health problems from injecting... air? Wasted my money... Explains why I felt like I had so much left over when I'd get to the end of the 28 days. Explains why I have seen zero results. Also worried because I dont know what my dose is or what dose I should resume with. And I don't want to waste more money.
Edit: step 2.1 is confusing to me. It says "draw air into your syringe to match the amount of medication you'll inject." and 2.2 "puncture the top of the vial and inject the air [into the vial]." I thought the injecting air into the vial would force liquid into the syringe.
