Her STBX bf was visiting at the sliding glass door, they sat looking at each other. The vibe was tense, her tail was floofed up huge. He ran away when he saw me; I opened a window in the direction he went, so she may sit on the sill and continue the visit. After I opened the window, I foolishly meowed out the window to summon the bf cat.

She is, apparently, not ready to let him go. I think she saw me as a rival in that moment and jumped onto my leg, wrapped paws around calf and bit me (the bruised area is the bite). My family says I deserve this for trying to intervene in her love life 😢
