My rescue tortie and her babies

This is Pumpkin and her kittens Coco, Tiki, Cali, Bear, and Medusa.

I live in an area with a huge feral cat population. This precious girl showed up early last spring and I fed her pretty regularly for a while, but over the winter I only saw her once.

She reappeared this spring with a BB gun wound and full term pregnancy. She was very skittish at first, I’m afraid she had a pretty rough winter. After debating what to do I decided to take her in so she could have her kittens in a safe warm environment.

My baby Maeve

Shoutout lovergirl. I’ve had her for 8 months now and she’s such a sweetheart.

Edit: Maeve appreciates all the love. All the hugs and kisses and squeezes have been bestowed!

Pistachio & Paprika: Bonded siblings that are less cuddly now

Bonded since they're kittens from the same litter.

We adopted them almost 2 years ago. They used to cuddle constantly when we first got them, but I rarely see them cuddle now. I know cats can become more independent, but I hope they still love each other a ton. They sometimes play a little too hard and it ends in hissing or growling, but overall they get along. Pistachio is a super cuddly, loving boy, and Paprika is a sweet, playful girl. I love them with all my heart.

We recently got a feral cat, Pepper (girl), and it seems like Pistachio is starting to bond with her. I hope Paprika and Pistachio's relationship doesn't become too strained from the new kitty. Paprika still hisses at Pepper occasionally.

I'll make another post to show off Pepper because I already have too many pics. 😅 I really think Pepper and Pistachio are starting to bond after about a month together. 💕

Hates suitcases, full time ham

Anytime I bring any suitcase out she knows I'm about to leave for more than a day or two and loses her mind. Becomes possessive, will fight if I touch it 😭

She's a ham, sassy, talkative, loves to play and be brushed. Don't pet her too long or the wrong way, unless you're a child she's weirdly cool with kids. Doesn't like to be held, not a lap cat but likes to follow me room to room and will snuggle close. Unless I'm sick, then she'll make biscuits and sit on me, begrudgingly. Would eat herself to death if I let her, so she's on a timer 3x a day. Loves pulling stuff out of the closet. Goes outside supervised, but never goes far in the yard and is usually ready to go back in soon. She gets mad at me if it's wet out, like I made it that way so she can't go out. Thinks she can beat up the neighbors dog, because it's old and she terrorizes it from the other side of the fence 🙄 Loves meeting new people, does NOT like other animals. Has her routines, has me trained pretty good.

Added more pictures bc I feel inspired by all the other cute Torties on here. She came to me named Maggie, but I also call her doo-doo, helper girl, pumpkin, pumpkin poop, baby cat, baby girl, lover girl (when she's being super cute or affectionate), shit-bird,

Paprika, Pepper, & Pistachio (2nd pic)

The Spicy & The Nutty

Repost of Paprika & Pepper - full quality image edit. Plus bonus pic of Pistachio & Pepper.

I hope it's ok that I repost this image, the other one didn't upload full quality. Here's the first good photo I have of Paprika (top) and Pepper (bottom). Pepper was recently rescued from the woods near our home, she's feral and is adjust nicely to her new home. We've been together for a little over a month. She's scheduled to get spayed this week and she's adjusting from feral to house cat pretty well.

We've had Paprika and her brother Pistachio (see 2nd slide) for a few years now. Paprika is tolerating Pepper, but she's not a big fan of changes. Lol. Pistachio is pretty chill and happy to have another cat to play with. I love my lil family of kitties!

she's literally so evil I can't stand her

I'm about to be away for the weekend, and as I'm getting myself packed, she goes and does THIS!!!! it's a red panda kigurumi/onesie, super comfy cozy, and I guess she agrees. I'm already going to miss her so much, maybe I should just cancel everything instead
