Never had a more cuddly cat

This is typically what working from home looks like with Leo. This is after waking up at 4am to her in between my legs and not moving for 2 hours so she could be comfy. She also loves to come into the shower with me and then cuddle while I dry her off with a towel.

She’s not all sweet. She nips at me to get me to pet her but it’s usually followed by sandpaper tongue kisses. Sweet and spicy. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Serious question for those who shop at the Costco on 44th St & Oak

Why does everyone buy bottled water? I shop here frequently and notice almost everyone is buying bottled water. Why?? I’m genuinely curious.

Most people I know like their insulated tumblers and use water filters at home to try to reduce waste.

Can’t wait for the election to be over…

It’s bad enough we’re flooded with campaign signs on every street corner, but then we have to deal with the endless text messages, calls for surveys, tv commercials, and wasteful mailers. It seems to get worse and worse every year.

Are there any candidates who are actively campaigning to stop all this waste? Is there anything we can do to tamper this down?

I’m about to register as an independent to stop the text messages, calls, and mailers at the very least.

Request for Westgate recommendations

Hi! I have a large (adult) group going to a Rattlers game in a couple weeks and I’m looking for a good spot to get a drink and bite. I’m not super familiar with west side and figured I’d post here for recommendations. Please send me your recs for a large group near the arena! Thanks!!

Andrew Rannells’ memoirs

I listened to this audiobook a few years ago and it had me in stitches. It’s so funny. Highly recommend!

I just saw he came out with a 2nd memoir in 2023 and will start listening to that soon.

Has anyone else read or listened to either of his memoirs?

Rulla👃🏽

I’m glad she made this decision for herself and hope she’s feeling more confident, but I am sad to see her natural nose go. She had such a unique face and I loved that she owned it.

Does every tortie LOVE the slicker brush?

Leo is my second tortie and the first one was also obsessed with the slicker brush. Both would let me brush them until they were bald if it meant more time with their beloved brush. Although I never did. Who has that kind of time and upper body strength..? Are yours like this too?

Exercise wheel?

I’m considering a cat wheel for my 9 month old kittens. Do they actually use them? Has anyone had success with them? Any recommendations on brands? Are they recommended for more active breads?

I just started my search and was contacted almost immediately after applying for a job with a reputable company. They scheduled for an interview right away and offered me the job the next day. The first offer is $20K less than what I was previously making working fully remote; 100% in office with a 20-30 minute/8.5 mile commute; benefits aren’t effective for 90 days; and they only offer 10 days of PTO. In my industry (insurance), it’s standard for benefits to start on day 1 and offer 20-30 days of PTO. I’m in a comfortable financial position right now, know I don’t have to accept the job, but am worried I might not be offered another.

Any advice or other things to consider?

Hi, I’m looking to get a tune up for my beloved, old hybrid bicycle. Does anyone have any good recommendations in South Scottsdale?

I used to take it to a great guy who did bike repairs out of his home near Hayden & Jackrabbit. Unfortunately, my contact for him is no longer in service.

It’s my fault for naming her after the Surrealist artist, Leonora Carrington. Please rate Leo’s artwork. Thank you.
