Effect of Liz Leaving

PSA this is just my thoughts and I hope I am wrong. I love the cast; all great characters. I feel like the show is going to feel so different without Liz because she brings such an energy and commanding presence to the show whether it’s good or bad. Her fights were generally interesting and she had the longest friendships/ best connections with the cast. The rest of the cast is great but their personalities are silly goofy airhead when we need a serious/kinda scary person like Liz to balance it out. It’s like Rhony without Bethany like it’s fine but not great. You guys understand what I mean?. I feel like the rest of the cast is fine with each other now and we are gonna lose out on good tv. Look at Kelsey and Rosie already, they are already friends kinda now cause Kelsey lost an ally. Just picturing the remaining cast they seem koombuya besides rulla and jo ellen obviously. What are we gonna watch now, just Jo ellen and Rulla fight. We are gonna have to watch manufactured fights now between Alicia and Rosie or whatever.

Super weird Brian again.

Dr. Brian Pontarelli is listed in this obit in 2015 as someone’s partner. He was supposed to be with Rulla at this point. Someone posted this on fb and someone said it was her great aunt that died and she had first hand knowledge that they were long time partners.

A post for laughter

Brian: “I can’t comment further bc this is an ongoing case”

Also Brian: “I can’t comment further bc this case has been thrown out”

I can’t stop laughing

The ongoing…

I know I’m late but I just finished and learned about the Dino dude and I have a theory. (Don’t bully me if this has already been brought here plssss I’m new here lol)

Could “The ongoing…” actually have been finished with INVESTIGATION? And Liz was just trying to keep Dino’s charges off of the show?! His investigation has been going since 2021 and Liz’s husband was gone fishing in 2023 so her texts and calls with him are all part of a federal investigation

Curiosity Poll: Team Kelsey or Team Rosie?

Overall, where does the community tend to land when it comes to Kelsey vs. Rosie? I know both of them have clearly made mistakes, but if you had to pick a side, or just say who you prefer more, who would it be?

For me, the answer feels pretty clear. I am only on episode nine so my perspective could shift as I keep watching, but I doubt it will.

I’m really curious to hear honest opinions on where people land! 🫶🏻

Update: Wow, I'm shocked. I'm totally prefer Kelsey. 🫣

Yes! Homeless!

Am I the only person who understood that when a man who is the sole provider for their family abandons them - he’s leaving them for homelessness?!

Just bc the grandma stepped in and gave them a home, that still feels like you’re homeless! You’re not in YOUR home, bc you don’t have one. We call ppl who “couch surf” homeless so I don’t see why she’s getting dissected for this. (Note: I wrote this before the car argument with Liz)

The reunion pt2 was just JoEllen harassing Rulla

Jo-Ellens reasoning for exposing the details of Brian’s affair all boils down to her need to prove she isn’t a “liar”. It’s disturbing watching her smile at Rulla’s pain and the downfall of Rulla’s marriage.
Rulla is a victim of Brian.
Pretending like it’s the easiest thing in the world to leave a man that’s abusing, at a bare minimum controlling her is so unfair. Added he is the father of her children & cultural reasoning.
Watching Jo-Ellen sit there and grin while picking apart the details of Brian’s lies was not for Rulla, it was only for herself at the expense of another woman.
Being called a liar isn’t as bad as being abused by your husband, dealing with the emotional rollercoaster of his affair, etc.
Jo-Ellen is spooky. Liz was unfortunately correct in reading her as a demon and psycho. Shes nasty.
Rulla may choose to stay with her cheating husband, but bullying and attacking her over it is only putting her in danger.
Why does nobody consider after Rulla + Brian were confronted about his affair (beginning of season), Rulla disappearing from filming in the following episodes might’ve not been her hiding from production because of her ego. It very well could be from his control.

Rosie messaged me back….

I am an SA survivor and decided to say something to Rosie about her decision to hang around Dave Portnoy. Her response made my heart drop & honestly felt compelled to share since she is showing true colors of not giving one iota of a fuck.

Alicia Appreciation Post

I can’t explain it, but Alicia is so unintentionally funny.
Everyone else seems to be working overtime for a moment, and she just… exists. 😂

I know she’s probably not as innocent as she comes across, but there’s something really likable about her. She is def my favorite this season.

I’m sad Liz has left…

While I agree with the general consensus that many aspects of her personality and her behaviour can be problematic at times, I do think she is a great addition to the cast and I find her and her relationships with the other ladies and her husband interesting. She definitely brings the drama and the “ongoing” would be a great storyline as Dino goes to trial.

Why ?

I honestly don’t understand why so many women are judging Rulla from The Real Housewives of Rhode Island. If anyone deserves criticism, it’s Brian for cheating and Beth if she knowingly got involved with a married man.
Rulla chose to forgive her husband, and that’s her decision. Whether people agree with it or not, she shouldn’t be bullied for trying to save her marriage. As women, we don’t have to make the same choice, but we can respect that it’s her life and her relationship.
Hold the people who caused the betrayal accountable not the woman who chose how to move forward.

Called my husband a slam pig

We were eating dinner and my toddler had left the table with his food uneaten. My husband stole some of his food and I go “stop! You slam pig stop eating his food”. I was just watching rhori and it was the first thing that popped into my head. He had never heard the term and was like “what’s a slam pig, is it bc I’m eating all the food?”. He kept asking and it just became so funny. He finally looked it up and we just laughed.

Rulla tell us your Trutha

I’m sorry everyone. But my husband and I figured it out!! Why is Rulla in this type of marriage?? We were talking about it and it hit me. She must have something else going on. She either doesn’t want to give up a boyfriend either or she could be the lavender in the marriage.

I think she’s completely fine with his cheating because this is the dynamic she wants. There are plenty of reasons people are attracted to sexless marriages or being with a lousy partner. If she has a boyfriend/partner/lover/asexual situation, she’d have to start all over again finding a “main” to cover up her second life and be okay with it. It’s easier to just stick with the one, even though they are bad at discretion, instead of finding someone new who’s down with it.

I think Rulla ultimately came on the show to slowly peal her layers and eventually show her real life. But I think everything she was confronted with, she thought would happen at season 2 or 3 lol not episode 1 😂

*edit: Rulla has been married before so she is truly no stranger to divorce. Neither is her family.
