I think Jo-Ellen is a necessary evil, and although I didn't love how she continually doubled down on Rulla and the affair, I fully understand where the obsession was coming from.

Brain went out of his way to get Jo-Ellen fired. Cameras or not, alot of people would've gone as petty as Jo-Ellen did. Of course, being filmed and being on Housewives was a massive motivator, but I think it's clear regardless of whether she was on the show, Jo-Ellen would've been exactly like that.

The only thing I wish she didn't do was equate the blame to Rulla. Rulla chose to turn a blind eye. I think after the 1st or even the 2nd, you gotta throw in the towel. But I guess, she'd then look like a gossip rather than a noble truther if she just randomly talk about it without turning to Rulla.

With most comedies slotting in actresses in supporting rather than lead, next year's locks are basically just Quinta and Ayo (Margot hasn't started filming and likely won't until next year). From what I can find, the only new comedy show with a female lead is Dig (with Amy Poehler).

Will long-term underrated network shows like: St. Denis Medical's Allison Tolman or Ghosts's Rose McIver get a break?

OR will Kristen Bell, Selena Gomez, and Amy Poehler round out the three missing spots as safe picks (having been previous nominees)?

OR new nominees from shows like I Love LA, Running Point, Adults, Bad Monkey sneak in with a nomination?

I know most viewers really don't like Brynn, and neither do I. But from an objective standpoint of housewife performance, blaming the doomed RHONY 3.0 entirely on her is a bit of a misunderstanding of how bad the reboot was.

Let's be real. Even before Brynn's accusations toward Ubah, the season was already doomed for cancellation. The main storyline was about Pigeons, not even like a pet Pigeon like Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy (or whatever that incident was in RHOBH), but metaphorical pigeons who spread gossip. On top of that, you got Rebecca Minkoff who had such a bad performance as a friend of, she literally convinced people to stop buying her bags.

But objectively, at least on her first season, Brynn was better than most cast members. No one liked Sai's who "I'm better than you attitude", Erin was there, Jenna's biggest fan was Andy which gave her a pass to hide / curate storylines, and Ubah was an elevated friend of. Jessel was the one standout from the show, but Brynn was ok, to Jessel's amazing (in relative terms).

What made rhony reboot 3.0 truly horrible was its lack of fun, contrived storylines, non-existent friendships, and overall poor cast dynamic. The show casted characters rather than tested chemistry amongst people, and that can work in some cases (Miami!!!); for the most part, you need actual friends with history for a reboot cast (just look at SLC, RI, Atlanta, Potomac).

TLDR: Brynn did something horrible, but blaming her for RHONY's demise is a bit misinformed. She was a contributor to a demise, rather than the sole cause.

From watching RHOC and GT this year, one thing is for sure, Vicki has misconstrued the returning orange as validation that she's the best HW, rather than a one-shot opportunity to return to Bravo.

I love an annoying HW. I watch reality tv not to idolize a HW, but to see her bother other cast members to generate storylines (hello Ramona from NY). But Vicki has flared this to 1000, where her worst traits are being doubled down. If it's not blatant racism or ignorance, she's just fully refusing to engage - not a good trait for a housewife.

So with constant refusal to engage on TV and the blatant homophobic, racist, and condescending peddling of her insurance, I wonder, what is the line a fan has with Vicki coz at this point, I can't seem to believe that the pros are outweighing the cons.

I would argue RHOSLC has only had one truly flop season, which is season 3 (the black eye season). For a HW show in 7 seasons, that's a rare feat. I think only RHOA and Miami, (yes Miami!), have shown a stronger track record by their 7th season.

This is an ensemble cast. All of them work very well together. If you take one out, it won't actually work well. For example: Heather's annoying behavior will just be bullying if you take out Lisa and Meredith's delusional realities. On the converse, Lisa and Meredith will seem wildly out of touch and curated, without Heather policing their behavior.

I think here are the three main issues:

1. Lisa can't ALWAYS be the villain.

Listen, Lisa IS annoying. But that doesn't mean that she should be ganged up on every single season. The same effect happened to Nene on her original stint. Obviously, Lisa will never leave the show (as Nene left to become an actress). But something will break the camel's back if they keep going this cycle.

Go for Braunwyn and her weird relationship with Todd. Go for Heather and her continued production antics.

2. The leaks about the season need to die down (unless its related to the FBI)

Remember when the only information we knew about the season was that Jen Shah was getting arrested? That made everyone want to watch the show. Now, it seems like I already know who's friends with whom, who had a breakdown, what storyline all of the casts will have months before the season airs.

3. The alliances need to stop

Lisa and Meredith alliance, and the others alliance is just genuinely annoying to watch. This isn't Game of Thrones, and by the end, some of these women may never film solo with one another unless its a group scene, and we know what happened with Jersey when they did that.

These women work well together. They're like a strong improve group with a penchant for iconic one-liners, but I can see the writing in the wall, and if a producer doesn't step in to fix these issues (similar to how production told Potomac to get their sh*t together), I can see deep trouble.

For every dystopian world or political drama nominated, corporate shows have been around for years but the only show that I can think off that was truly an in-office drama that succeeded in the Emmy's have been Mad Men and Succession, which is crazy given so many shows have had pretty good reviews and longevity, including:

• Halt and Catch Fire
• House of Lies
• Black Monday
• Ballers
• Running Point
• American Auto
• WeCrashed
• The Consultant
• Mountainhead

So I wonder, why do corporate shows rarely get any recognition, versus the high success rate for dystopian realities?

Given we are currently in the midpoint of the 2020s, I recently thought of how there's always a show that succeeds despite this trope being overplayed. So....

If Friends covered the 90s, HIMYM covered the 00s, and New Girl covered the 10s, which show covers the 2020s or I guess has the potential? At this point, I don't think a single show has reached this since most have gotten cancelled.

The closest I can think off is technically What We Do in The Shadows (lol). So far it's the only show that meets what all these shows have: cohabitation trope, romance storyline between lead(s), famous guest starts, Emmy nom(s), etc.

(Before anyone argues that the trope is overplayed, it lasted 3 decades...)

Similarly, what's the girl friend group show of the 2020s? If 80 to 90s was Golden Girls, 90 to 00s was SATC, and 10s was Girls?

I've been quite neutral on the women on this show as I see UGT as genuinely a top-tier HW show. But this recent season felt kinda sour just coz Lisa essentially did nothing all season, and the women all just came for her. Her dinner with cardboards was a massive flop.

Despite the season, I still liked all the women (bar the annoying singing one) but UGT is making me really see Lisa's PoV. It just seems like she never gets a break with any of the women. Season after season, even when she isn't related to a conflict, they somehow find a way to make it about Lisa, and they go hard and personal especially with her (J*** for Jazz? Open marriage? The cancelled storyline about her son vs Mary)

It's crazy given Lisa does make a lot of things about her (so to find that the women do it for her is WILD). It seems any semblance of friendship that Lisa tries to have - it ultimately gets blown to pieces coz none of the women, even Monica have wanted a friendship. Even her friendship with Meredith seems more like an alliance than a friendship atp, and it's sad since she's clearly capable of having good friendships as UGT shows.

As someone who watched this show from beginning to end, I thought the humor was okay, but I just think it had such a poor splash of realism, and in all honesty all of the characters are kinda very similar. When it comes to mid-20s type of shows, I think it's incredibly important to know your audience and to have some semblance of differentiation.

The only character who was really "struggling" throughout the show was Kel. Let's compare that to three shows set in NYC with folks in their mid 20s.

• In season 1 of Friends, Rachel was working as a waitress, Joey was a struggling actor, and Phoebe was a masseuse. The struggle was so real that they had an entire episode dedicated to those three in comparison to the others with corporate jobs
• In Girls, you had 4 girls who lived in small apartments and we're all mostly out of work
• In Adults, you have 2-3 out-of-work people with all of them living under the same house in "Queens" (anyone with an eye knows that place is NOT Queens lol)

*Even Only Murders in the Building had a storyline about financial struggles*

Unless you have a unique premise like I Love LA or SATC, being in your 20s in an expensive city, living in a nice apartment, with little to no economic struggles (especially now) is incredibly not relatable. You basically have five characters with 2 of them working in IB (somehow never looking horrible), an actual nepo baby, a woman who suffers little to know repercussions, and a man with a huge economic safety net.

The target audience for NSFW, GenZ, was never going to lean onto the story since it lacks any semblance of realism. The reality is:

• Most 20-somethings living in NYC aren't living in nice high-rise apartments
• Most IB kids are too busy to think about their love life
• Most kids aren't nepo-babies

I'm not saying realism would've made it not canceled. Obviously a show like Next Gen NYC exists, but there's a difference in that these kids come with a fan base and reality shows automatically have a camp nature. If they were gonna have an unrealistic story, maybe at least lean toward the camp aspect of wealth akin to Gossip Girl or Dallas rather than trying to sell a story of "struggle" in NYC.

I've checked the five star site multiple times and I cannot seem to find the Pasay to Cabanatuan route on their website, but it's on their main page. I see that there is a Cubao to Cabanatuan, but since I am coming from the airport and Pasay is closer, is there a way to reserve tickets for this?

The acting in limited series tends to be some of the strongest performances, just look at the limited supporting actress winners and nominees in recent years.

I think this year, specifically, had one of the most competitive line ups to the point that major standouts like Cailey Spaeny, Grace Gummer, and Betty Gilpin all got snubbed. To have such a good category with many stand out performances not even be aired is so rude.

I didn't love the options for limited series this year, but in my opinion, if all five spots were from the following Netflix shows, it would've been completely fair (even if DTF St.Louis was snubbed). I think Black Rabbit, and Death by Lightning were far superior shows to Its All Her Fault and Love Story, but the only reason the three got snubbed from best limited series was because voters didn't wanna stack the category with mostly Netflix shows.

Hot take: I think Something Very Bad is Going to Happen was a far more interesting show, than It's All Her Fault.

Similarly, I think voters just didn't want the entire category to just be HBO and Netflix, which resulted in Half Man getting canned.

I think the answer is obvious, but since since season 1 of Big Little Lies, Nicole has been in 10 shows since 2017... 10. I haven't seen an Oscar winning actor flop on television as much, even on a guest category. The works include:

• The Perfect Couple
• Expats
• Nine Perfect Strangers
• Margot's Got Money Problems
• Scarpetta
• Lionness
• Faraway Downs
• Roar
• The Undoing
• Top of the Lake

I don't even know an actor who's been main or supporting on a single show as much as she has been in such short a time span. She basically has a new show each year, and has yet to score an acting nom since Big Little Lies.
