RHOSLC is the first real housewives franchise I’ve ever watched and after I finished it I decided to start RHOBH and I’m ngl it’s so hard to get into 😭 idk if it’s because I’m so used to the type of craziness on SLC, the fights being so out of pocket (ex: you said I smell like hospital) I’m just so bored watching BH. Should I keep going? Does it compare to SLC? There’s a lot of seasons so just wondering if it’s worth it! Has anyone else thought the same as me? Or am I crazy? 😂

I’ve now finished the first four seasons. I cannot understand how anyone is a fan of Mary or even finds her comments/observations funny in the slightest. They keep calling her the “comedic relief” at the reunion…umm all she does is spit insane insults, treat service workers like shit, act like the biggest hypocrite I’ve ever seen, and bug her eyes in the most annoying way ever. I truly don’t think I’ve ever been this bothered by someone on a reality show ever.

She’s so delusional and self important. She thinks offhand comments about her (weirdo and overpriced and tacky) decor are worse than calling someone INBRED? How can she keep a straight face when she says this shit. She seriously thinks she’s perfect. The things she takes offense to get blown so out of proportion in her brain. I think something might actually be wrong with her.

She doesn’t participate in anything and she acts like activities she doesn’t enjoy are personal affronts to her. Her condescension towards Whitney or any service worker is disgusting. She is negative about everything all the time. Like her energy is so dark and awful. She’s everything that I HATE in a person, just a mean rude wet blanket that for some reason thinks she’s better than others. Not to mention, a cult leader.

AND ALL THESE BITCHES ARE SHOVED SO FAR UP HER ASSHOLE. Whitney, why do you even want to be friends with her so desperately?? Heather how can you even be cordial to someone that has been so mean to you? She’s been disgusting to every single housewife and they are just like “oh lol comedic relief, it was nice to have her back blah blah blah.” Like she doesn’t “say it how it is” she just says whatever random mean shit comes to her head.

I know that something redeeming is coming in the next few seasons but I will never forget how horrific of a person she is. She’s not even entertaining like Jen was (who I also hate) she just sucks.

Okay rant over lol. I almost stopped watching the show when she reappeared in season 4.

So I said this in another thread and started to think more about it.
I get that some people don’t like her and won’t argue that there may be a reason for this (although I personally don’t accept the assumption that Lisa and Meredith are victims of her gaslighting because nobody gaslights like Lisa or Meredith).
But she has earned her money on a legal way and a way that didn’t hurt other people or more or less stole money from others. That in itself is the exception on this show.
Moreover you can’t dispute that her book helped a lot of people in a very significant way (don’t say it is good because I didn’t read it).
That combined is something that should be recognized and at least rewarded in the way that everyone should want to keep her on the show even when you don’t like her. Or else we are the ones that only reward fucked up people that made their success on the backs of others.

What do you think? It’s genuinely not meant as a statement to her likability in terms of behavior on the show.

Wow. Just had to get on here to express this somewhere to someone - I cannot believe people as delusional as lisa barlow still exist. Give her husband the peace prize for still being with her. This woman turns everything into a narrative where she's the victim, she starts screaming and repeating your sentences when shes been caught and she rewrites everything to try and confuse people. Someday, we'll hear something very bad come out about her business I'm sure. She feels like an illegal person on all levels.

This season is teaching me how to deal with absolutely toxic people like lisa. The way some of these women keep their calm around this screaming, reactive, lacking self control toddler of a woman who is always having a tantrum and a victim parade is a masterclass in how to be calm around such mean people.

Such a bully through and through. She makes me believe that evil as a concept could be real, I've really never seen someone gaslight everyone, including their own husband - SO much. Mannn it's a miracle her husband hasn't erased her from his life. How does someone even stand her istg

I kinda get why her son didn't tell her about his missing for a year now. She is not a safe space. In fact, she is the most unsafe toxic piece of hell I've ever seen on a real housewives show. It's so so triggering to see how badly she treats everyone and just how vengeful and twisted and dark some people can be.

Meredith......WOW

I wish someone with a CIA background would give us her personality assessment. She is a lawyer and always behaves as is she is in a court of law. As if every word she says can and WILL be held against her so she is careful to only point to things and then if you turn to look at it, she blames you because she never told you to look there. Her entire defense in every single argument lies in being ambiguous in her language. She even insists this again and again in multiple arguments - she will always correct people saying "I didn't say bla and bla but bluh and bluh". She relies on keeping her exact opinion a bit of a blur. It's like you're seeing a psychotic lawyer out on the town. Her face gives away so much more information than she realizes --- I'm not sure who's worse lisa or meredith.

Lisa will never let you get close to the truth because she will create a scene by her screaming and invalidating and threats about ending you // Meredith will never conclude a discussion without being insufferably dismissive or start crying about someone's uncle's sons wifes brother in law's dogs pup having a blood clot or some innocuous cr@@p like that. Meredith reminds me of talking to an ex friend----- so fffff triggering - this duo. Together they are the perfect set of bullies I've ever seen. They look as good together as those evil fairies from winx club.

It's so cruel to be so mean. The way Meredith screamed on britani because she couldn't really get mad at her husband like that so she channelizes that rage into the woman who brought it to her attention - it's exactly like women being vile to the mistress instead of actually losing it on their husbands. Meredith abused britani and the way she lacks accountability, dismissed things, got so cruel about it and twisted the story -- i really hope these she leaves the show. She's like a mean piece of cardboard.

She brings no real moral value, entertainment value, human value, direction or flavour to it. It's just random bursts of meanness you have to watch because they give her screan time.

I don't think the show can, in good faith, allow her to continue after what she put britani through on the plane. If she really has the balls to, she would get mad and hold her husband accountable.

omg does anyone else absolutely loathe Monica?! I find myself unable to even watch most of the scenes with her in them. I end up having to just fast forward through them. She is truly one of the most awful people I’ve ever watched and I love reality TV so I love when people are terrible, but goodness gracious she is just a whole new level.

Just got to when she was exposed in the Season 4 finale for the troll account and she is an atrocious character both in the scene and in the individual interviews! I’ve done some googling and somehow she seems to be a polarizing character, so are there actually people who think she’s great?? I just find that she has said some of the cruelest things ever on this show and engaged in awful cyber bullying (even passively if she wasn’t the “only” person on the account, you are at some point who you associate yourself with). Also she acts SO immature I was shocked that they were celebrating her 39th birthday!

I’m starting the finale now so maybe the wrap up and season review will change my mind about her, but I might be reaching my drama limit for the night. 😅

Doing my first watch right now and just saw the seen where Robert Jr spoke to Mary about his addiction. Very hard to watch especially after losing my mom to addiction.

Despite what anyone can say about it being manufactured, no matter how many times they have that conversation it will always be raw. It broke my heart to hear the silence between them and hearing him say how high his tolerance had gotten.

There is a decent part of it where mary pleads with her son to get help, because if he died she doesn't know what would happen to her. She talks for a long time, about how much a gift he was, how she wasn't happy before him, everything.

And with the way things have ended, I can't bear to worry about her. Regardless of how the show portrays her, losing her son and never seeing him to choose to get sober must be horrifying.

I don't know if she's going to be in the next season, but I hope she has support regardless.

In the beginning heather was one of my favourites, as the seasons have gone on she’s become insufferable.

All the shrieking and screaming I’m your friend, ride or die, I’ve always had your back while back stabbing everyone is driving me nuts!

The way she handle the black eye should’ve had her fired imo.

But I just don’t think she really has any more to offer the show, despite her efforts to be and it girl she’s just not.

Is there any one that still thinks she brings value to the show, if so why?

they're both so contrived, in their personalities and what they bring to the show.

britani is literally an actor/entertainer. her drama is made up of half-truths. she feels out of place. literally forced onto all of the women. she feels like a cast member being randomly added, not anyone's actual friend.

ik bronwyn has fans, and good for her, but she was SO opinionated from the jump it came off as inauthentic. and ik it's her thing, but the blow-up costumes and the "couture" hot dog. like, we get it girl, you're in the room. she's just... got an overcompensating type vibe. i will at least say i appreciated her and todd actually showing some of the reality of their relationship. and she stands up for herself which i also appreciate.
