So what do you think of their list? I agree with the top artists, not sure I'm sold on all the songs choices. But I know Stevie better be #1.

Just got out of the first preview of An American Daughter. This production is the first New York revival of Wendy Wasserstein's play, and apparently includes an unpublished second act. I am unfamiliar with this play, and was initially intrigued due to its plot around politics, scandal, and a family dynasty. I really enjoyed Oedipus, so was keen to make the comparison.

That's where the comparisons end. This show is not a thriller or fast-paced, but it is sharp, funny, drama-filled, and thoughtful about taking a modern lens to its ideological debates.

Montego Glover was the standout and stole every scene. Ryan Spahn was an effective antagonist, and both the iconic Mary Beth Peil and Dakin Matthews do what they do best. The lead Jean Lichty didn't seem settled in her role yet, and had some minor fumbled lines (I'm sure she'll do very well in the rest of the run). Nevertheless, the ensemble cast delivered an engaging and topical, although predictable, production.

The Diamond Stage is intimate so I don't think there are any bad seats. The set and lighting design was fantastic. And, I also enjoyed the music. 📻

Definitely worth seeing!

Shamea was on WWHL and was throwing shots at Angela. Andy shut that down. He clearly has his faves.

Shamea is not playing her cards right this season. She needs to be building bridges, not burning them. She's keeping herself on an island by holding on to dumb beefs. She should have started this season with a clean slate. Not sure who's flopped worse as a peach holder, her or Marlo. Smh.

Jennifer looks and sounds great! This is a subdued rendition for her.

Man, this song had me in a chokehold when it came out. 😭 They both still got it! 🔥

This has got to be one of the best Tony Award openings. So clever and well choreographed. I was screaming! And, Pink did a great job hosting.

Beyoncé loves a vocal run. Here's Grace Spelman Music Project's breakdown of her top ones. 'Plastic Off The Sofa' is the holy grail for me. Love the vocal gymnastics on that song downnn.

Saw @itsmelmitch's hot take and thought it was an interesting one. Should modern R&B stay focused on the innuendos, word plays, and the poetry of the old school? Like the songs we listened to when we were younger, only to relisten as an adult, and finally realize what they were *actually* talking about? Do you think explicit or vulgar lyrics take away from the songs?

Looks like Rihanna is trying to convince Amanda to do another season. Should she come back? I think newbies need at least 2 seasons to get a fair shake.

Thai Drag Queen and Beyoncé performer, Srirasha Hotsauce did not come to play. Like, how!? She ATE. No crumbs! 🐝

First of all, these jerseys have come a long way! In the first half of this league's journey, the jerseys were atrocious. I loathed that the sponsors got top billing (I get why), and were more prominent than the team names.

With that said, I love the NY Liberty jerseys. They're so clean, the colorways are sweet, and they represent the city's aura the best. 🗽 (And yes, I'm a Liberty fan. 🤭)
