I have previously shared this story, but given the latest cancellation I believe it is an opportune time to revisit it.
In the fall of 2013, I was invited to participate in a panel discussion on Bethenny's daytime talk show. The producers were assembling a diverse group of women from various age groups to discuss navigating divorce, and I, having experienced an unconventional divorce, was considered a suitable participant.
My divorce was so unusual that it has since led to opportunities in talk radio, hosting seminars, and even participating in a documentary. However, when the producers attempted to coordinate my appearance, I regretfully had to decline, and I was disappointed as I felt I had missed an opportunity to reach a broader audience and to meet Bethenny.
In light of recent incident about her behavior, I now consider it fortunate that I never appeared on her show. This experience serves as a reminder that it is often best not to meet one's idols, as discovering their flaws can be disillusioning and alter one's perception of them.
Bethenny was on Emme Grede's podcast and said she makes at least $20 million from tiktok brand deals each year.
I know influencers can make a lot, but she seems mentally unwell. Are people really buying that much product from her that L'Oréal, etc., thinks she is worth a multi-million dollar contract? When she first started several years ago, I might have understood people trusting her, but now it's very obvious these are simply brand deals.
Also, "older" people who might not know better are less likely to be on TikTok, so this really surprises me.
I know that many people won't agree with me, but I think it’s either Luanne or Ramona. Not because of their character but in terms of making the most memes and being iconic.

Am I the only person in this world who never found Bethenny to be so charming and magnetic? Luanne was, Ramona was, but definitely not Bethenny. She’s condescending, pretentious, and acts like she’s better than everyone else. She is being canceled for a reason.
I know that many of the ladies are suspected to be on uppers but Ramona in season 5 is on a different planet some nights.
I’m laughing so hard at her dinner in Miami with aviva and reed - she takes a bite of ceviche and is obsessing over the “calandro” (cilantro) while reed is trying to talk to her and the poor guy doesn’t know how to handle it at all.

It's been talked about a lot but the way Josh speaks to her is so awful. In the interviews I respect that she says it how it is and shows such vulnerability but still seems to validate him in the end.
Shes so underrated though with how she tries to stick up for herself, with the other women and with her husband. She tells everyone what she's pissed off about but they ALL dont respect her. Heather was pretty out of order in Montana and I felt K was more or less gaslit.
