They’re deciding to showcase Martha Stewart’s personality when it’s such a turn off is interesting. She’s not wealthy in a charming way, in a reserved way, in a clueless way. She’s the kind of wealthy where she gets “pissed off” bc Daisy has one commitment when Daisy has been /is at her beck and call. Her attitude is so gross. My mum’s 60th is coming up in roughly 3 weeks. I need advice on what to get her. We have been very low contact ( I cannot edit the title) since October 2024. I will not write her because I have nothing to say to her.

My question is not if I should gift her but what.
What gift should I get? Something fitting for a 60th but not too expensive..

Background:
We’ve only texted 2-3 times - me seeing if she’s ready to have a serious conversation, her stonewalling. She texted me for new years and recently a couple months ago saying she loves me.

I’ll be brief:

I saw my regular doctor on 5/11 - she agreed to support me through FMLA and certify my disability. I stopped work on 5/13 a couple days later. However that was the last week my doc was at the practice- she left. Meaning she couldn’t certify when I was finally able to apply for SDI 9 days after.

I now have an appointment with a new Dr. S who I’m supposed to see next week (6/11) to certify for me. I’ve never seen Dr. S before but the office assures me that she can certify since she has access to my chart & in the same practice as my previous doc.

Questions:
1. Can Dr. S still indicate 5/11 as my disability date even if she isn’t the one that saw me?

2. Does Dr. S have to indicate her visit date (6/11) as the disability date?

This month-long delay is totally out of my control. My regular doctor left the practice and getting a timely appointment with another doctor has been impossible. I don’t want to miss out on 1 month of assistance that I absolutely need.
