applying to ivies and oxbridge

I'm and Indian 9th grader [ CBSE board ] in Delhi [ private school, 10ish kids who went to ivies/ T10s this year ]. I'm interested in law. I have 2 questions-

  1. What ECs, competitions, APs etc should I take/ do going forward?

my profile is currently like this:

Demographics

  • International student - India
  • No hooks

Cost Constraints / Budget
No aid for UK, US depends on the college but can go till 50 lakhs INR per year.

Intended Major(s): Jurisprudence in the UK/ Econ in US

GPA, Rank, and Test Scores

  • Grades: 95% +
  • ACT/SAT Scores: N/A

List your coursework

School doesn't offer APs, self studying

8th grade - AP English Lang - 4

9th grade - AP Macro Econ, AP English Lit, AP Comp. Govt.

Awards

pretty weak section

  • John Locke Essay Competition Shortlist [ Econ, final results in Oct. but I think I might get VHC ]
  • Won multiple Best Dels at Model UNs
  • Some minor, regional/school-level awards for music, art, debate, etc
  • Multiple gold medals in SOF Olympiads [ eh not really worth anything ]
  • Scholastic Badge of Honour [ school thing- given to students with 90% aggregate ]

Extracurriculars

  • Legal blog, I write short articles on based on international cases explaining them, commenting on them [ 50k reach- started 6 months ago ]
  • Model UN [ top contender for leadership positions next year ]
  • I'm writing a thriller novel, been working on it for the past 2 years and will publish by 10th grade.
  1. Do I need any type of agency, Athena, GIDE, etc? Which one if so?

My itinerary right now consists of 4 things to do in piccadilly which are:

Will be visiting in early October.

extreme cramps

I started my period in early 7th grade, I was almost 12. I had okay-ish cramps, bearable, and only pained for the first 6ish hours. In mid 7th grade, I started experiencing extreme cramps, not being able to keep anything down, nausea, vomiting for about the first 12 hours of my period. It is really painful, like on a scale of 1-10, 1 was getting a scrape and 10 was getting shot and stabbed, it would be a 7. I still have periods like this and miss school, events and it's really frustrating [ in early 9th grade now ]. Is this something that can be controlled by diet? Is this normal? What do do? As far as I know none of my aunts, grandma's, mom gets periods like this.

visas for jlec

did anyone get theirs yet? I don't want to book hotels and everything else if I don't. only thing I have booked are the conference and gala tickets bc I've heard they sell out pretty fast. I also sent them an email but no response. I'm worried if it takes too long hotels and events will sell out, since I'm international I am making this a trip, so places that require booking ages before might sell out too.

what can I do to maximise and grow my profile for ivies?

For context I'm Indian, female, 8th grade [ please don't say I'm too young ]. CBSE board, I go to a school who has sent quite a few students to ivies.

I currently am:

- shortlisted for jlec

- writing a research paper [ law related ]

- writing a novel [ not really related to any specific subject, js something I started for fun ]

- starting a legal blog writing about and criticising cases

- have a pinterest account where I post mostly political stuff, and well it's still more of a informal diary but I don have 1.5 million monthly views and 1k followers

- model un, won best del multiple times

- debate

- prefect

Academics:

- 90%+ grade 7 [ lost marks in hindi, which I will not be taking next year ]

- 95%+ grade 8 [ currently ]

- taking past 8/9 this year

- taking ap eng lang and comp and want to add another ap [ got 5s on all practice/ mock tests ]

okay, four questions

1] are you going to the gala/ conference, neither or both?

2] what category [ senior or junior ]

3] what question did you attempt

4] what is the approx time they take to give you your official acceptance letter for visa purposes?
