I think they absolutely should be, to be clear. But since the Madison police clearly do not have even the slightest inclination to enforce it at all, what’s the point? I can see and hear tons of people in my neighborhood lighting them off right in their driveways and clearly they know there is zero threat of a citation.
Honestly I’d be less pissed off if they were legal and I had no standing to complain.
Just had my evening interrupted twice by some asswipe ringing my doorbell and ignoring my No Soliciting sign. He introduced himself as working for AT&T but his ID badge had Zeno Management printed on it.
I googled them and got a marketing company based out of Milwaukee in the results that didn’t say anything about AT&T, but seemed plausible. I called their number - 414-340-4315 - and left a message but I want to pursue a formal complaint with the state. I did this in regards to a local solar company who kept soliciting and apart from the satisfaction that they had to have their lawyer respond to the state, it seemed to finally get them to stop coming.
Anyone else experiencing this or know how to reach someone in the company?
