I am taking Marketing 303 summer asynchronous with professor Niki Vlastara. We are supposed to read like 4 chapters in like 5 days and exams are not open book.
She has uploaded power points of the chapters on canvas and comparing with the book seems to be a summary from the book ( what’s on the PP is taken from the book).
I am trying to save money and wanted to ask if anyone who has taken this class with professor Vlastara recommends to still purchase the book, or if studying from the power points should be enough/ok?

Note: we are not doing smart book or assignments through McGrahill.

Also any advise or tips to success on this class are welcome :)
I have a full time job so I’m trying to make this less stressful as possible!

Can we ask specific questions about a profesor and their teaching style here? Making sure since name would be included and idk if it’s fine/appropriate. (Sorry if this is a dumb question).

So I am new at GMU and I love to keep track of my progress. I would like to know if there is an easier way to know a list of what classes I am missing / supposed to take besides degree audit?
I think it is confusing that way and the way classes get full pretty quick, I can’t just wait to meet with an advisor every time ( also because of work, I hardly can meet when they are available).

Anyone has an idea of how much is the farmers dog food. My almost 6 years old dog has sensitive stomach and any other type of food gets him sick.
Someone gave us a good amount of farmers dog food and it seems to work good; he haven’t been sick since I started feeding him that food, although I am not sure I would be able to afford it.

I have tried to cook for him but the “healthy food” I can make for him, he hates it and wouldn’t eat 🥴

Does GMU only offers asynchronous classes for their online option? All the classes I search are asynchronous even for fall semester.
Even if classes are full I don’t see a synchronous option.🫪

I received confirmation today that I could register for summer classes at GMU.

I am currently at my last semester at NOVA so I was not sure if I had to wait until after graduation to be able to register for classes.

I want to graduate as soon as possible so I’ve been wanting to enroll for the soonest semester.

I had a meeting with an advisor and she said I can go ahead and register for summer classes so after the meeting I started to look into the options available and I know that if registration opened long time ago most likely the best options would be taken by now.

I am a full time employee so for me is more convenient to take online classes but I checked all the classes that I am missing to graduate and either they are on campus or asynchronous but not synchronous options (not even full)… I wonder if GMU only offers asynchronous classes for their “online” options!? 🥺
