Highly fluctuating potassium levels

Hi there!

I recently went into my annual PCP visit and the blood work showed I was on the high end of normal for potassium (5.2). I did labs again and it went up to 5.3, then all the way to 5.9 during the third draw. I just did labs for a fourth time and it came back down to normal (4.7). I did these labs all within at least 2-4 weeks of each other. I am 28F and all of my other labs have come back normal.

I've read that potassium can be a bit finicky during blood draws and false high readings can be common. I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to this, or what highly fluctuating potassium levels could point to? When my third blood draw came back as 5.9, I was quite concerned. Now that it's back down to normal range, I'm just puzzled!

Abilify causing noticeably flat affect

Hi everyone! I am 28F and have been on Abilify 2mg for about going on two years now. I have lived 10 lives since starting the medication, but have described it as "life changing." It's really hard to determine if it has actually been life changing, or if it's due to various life changes. I think it could be both.

Within these past two years, I have been getting ongoing comments about my flat affect. They seem to be getting increasingly more noticeable. I feel emotions internally and cry without a problem, but at times I just don't seem to...emote? As a woman, it's kind of written off as RBF.

Today, I discussed these concerns with my Psychiatrist and she mentioned she has noticed too. After this meeting, I confided in some of my closest friends who mentioned I used to be more "outgoing and bubbly," prior to Abilify.

I don't want to get bullied into going off of my Abilify...but I don't want to be known as someone who always looks pissed off. Has anybody else had a noticeably flat affect while on this medication?
