I 22F been with my bf 22M for around 2 years and he refuses to contribute more to the household. AITA for asking? or being annoyed he refuses?

okay so i 22F have recently moved in with my boyfriend 22M and we have been together around 2 years. he works full time and earns around $2,500 a month whereas i work part time and make around $800 per month because im in school full time aswell and work week nights. we currently split all bills equally ( im left with about $200 for groceries for the month) but ive asked recently if he’d contribute more to the house because he makes significantly more money than i do and if we didnt live together i’d be able to afford it more because i’d get help, but because he does live there and makes that amount im not eligible for the help.

All he says to justify it is that i “don’t work hard enough “ because i cant get any extra work and i dont want to get a different job because the one i have suits me perfectly because i go to school during the week and work week nights , off at the weekend, he tells me to just get a different job where i would work both week nights and weekends and i would get next to no free time.

Side note- i have a dog which also needs looked after which he doesn’t do and i do all his walks and look after him , he’ll take him outside for potty and that’s the extent to what he walks him. what do i do because he’s refusing but i think it’s fair. am i the problem? am i being unreasonable? HELP
