Sorry, I'm a bit late with this post

After a vote of confidence that failed, Fred_Memelord has resigned as leader of the SPD. The vote was held because of his sudden shift to the left which concerned some members, especially given that our party doesn't accept revolution. It's very sad to see a great leader go like this, especially one that saved the party from an early death. AnExtremeCase will now be acting General Secretary, until new internal elections are held.

My first act as acting party president is our withdrawal from the coalition. This was decided based on a poll held some time ago, and this decision was made before the end of the coalition primary. I know that because of the timing it seems like we left because of the disappointing primary result, but I swear that it isn't because of that. We wish the people running for the coalition all the best in both the presidential and legislative elections.
