I’ve been having a lot of trouble with these sort of scale factor problems because they’re just so confusing to me! Often times I’ll go in to do a problem and then I’ll trying to check if the numbers line up and they don’t, no matter how many times I redo them. If someone could help walk me through the problems that would be greatly appreciated!
I’ve been working on this packet forever and I’m just not confident in my answers. I’m confused on which formula to use for questions like 9 and 6 where it’s kind of like a pyramid but the base is a triangle. My friend used ai in class and got totally different answers than me—and it’s just frustrating me because I’m double and even triple checking my work and I just don’t get it. Please help!
I’ve been stuck on these two questions forever and I’m just not sure how to do them. I assumed 9 was a unique prison that uses the hp + 2B formula, but a friend of mine said it was a rectangular prism and I should use the 2lw x 2lh x 2wh formula but that confused me even more because there are more than three numbers shown.
I tried the same formula with 11 but I couldn’t find the base area.
