I have an interview next month for a data center position. I live out of state now so I would be relocating for the position if hired. I would be making 4k less than I’m making with my current employer. Would it be worth taking that pay cut to get my foot in the door? Think I would be able to move up to level 4 sooner than later? It's already taken wayyyyyy too long just to transfer a small amount from my old bank to Ally! I'm waiting for my paycheck to post as well and nada. I seriously regret this. I feel like things are moving at the speed of smell and if I had went with any other local bank this would be done by now! Waiting on debit cards for myself and my wife. I really need them sooner than later! I will call Ally this morning and see if they can expedite the debit cards. If something doesn't happen in the next day or so I may have to tell Ally to shove it and open up an account with a local bank. Guess I should have done more research ahead of time!

It's been that time of the year for a minute now. This is your reminder to get prepared! Make a plan, stock up, and be ready! Never a bad idea to have some type of emergency/weather radio! Or you can go overkill like me and get a set of ham radios(and your basic license), a shortwave radio, and a cb radio. I think most of us know what to do by now but it never hurts to be prepared early!

Just getting into HAM myself and was just curious if anyone was broadcasting on any particular frequencies? Are there any other local frequencies that are still active? Most of the info on the Internet seems to be outdated. I am working on getting my basic license sooner than later.
