Someone mentioned to me they were reluctant to spend 3000 yen on an event not knowing if they'll like it so this time I am offering a live with free admission again.
Summary:
I am a solo traveler from the U.S., in Tokyo here for just a little while longer. I come to Japan a couple times a year mainly to attend idol concerts and festivals.
I’m usually fine going solo, but I’ve invited newcomers from tokyoirl a couple times before including this particular group and it’s always been a really fun experience.
If you’ve ever been curious about smaller “underground” idol events in Japan but felt hesitant because of language barriers, etiquette, or just not knowing what to expect, this is a good chance to try it out. I’m happy to help translate, explain how things work, and answer any questions along the way. I’ve been into Japanese idol groups (big and small) and used to follow K-pop quite a bit too, so we can talk about either.
No pressure at all—you’re free to join for as little or as long as you want.
