Incorrect colors on MiSTer FPGA and Sony Trinitron KV21LS30E [Solved]

Hi guys, a few days ago I posted that I was having problems with some red and blue tones using a MiSTer FPGA (in my case, the QMTech one) on a Sony Trinitron. Keep this in mind if you're thinking of purchasing a vga-scart cable for the Mister from RetroCables, because to get the reds and blues correct on a Trinitron, you'll need to solder a 1K resistor to pin 20 of the scart connector. I'm attaching photos to clarify, so it might be helpful to anyone who has or will have the same problem. I don't know if all cables are made like this, even those made by other online stores, but the one sold by RetroCables is like this.

Incorrect colors MiSTer FPGA QMTech on Sony Trinitron KV-21LS30E

Hi everyone, I already posted a few days ago because I can't figure out why the colors on my Sony Trinitron when I use the Mister FPGA from QMTech are so faded and dull. I'll post some example photos: where the Out Run arcade core is running and the 240p test on the SNES core. If you look closely, the sky in Out Run should be a very strong and intense blue while it's green, while the background in the 240p test is faded; it should be a much stronger blue. The TV works perfectly, and with other emulation systems like PC/Raspberry, the colors are correct. I also use it with a PS2 and a Dreamcast, and there are no color problems with them either.

In my previous post a few days ago, someone suggested that it depended on the I/O board supplied with the qmtech mister, which can only handle up to 18-bit colors. To solve the problem, you need an I/O board that supports 24-bit. However, the systems you see running in the photos are below 24-bit. The systems that support 24-bit are PS1 and Nintendo 64 and Saturn. So, I'm not convinced that's the problem. Please give me your opinion, because I can't figure it out.

MiSTer FPGA QMTech on Sony Trinitron KV-21LS30E

Hi, I have a MiSTer FPGA from QMTech and a VGA-SCART cable from Retro Cables. I have a Sony Trinitron KV-21LS30E TV and I noticed right from the start that the red and blue tones appear faded, dull, in short, they are not what you would expect from those tones. the TV works correctly on the RGB AV signal (and this can be seen from the rectangle in the top right with the three dots inside, but the colors do not seem to be the same. I tried, reading the comments in this thread, to put a jumper on the 5V of the I/O board but nothing changes, that is, whether it is there or not it is the same. I had read on mister fpga forum that the Sony Trinitron have this problem and that to overcome it you need a 1K resistor on one of the pins of the scart connector, I think the 20 that of the csync. I ask anyone who uses a QMTech on a CRT, even if not Sony, how are your colors? Because in addition to the issue of having to make a modification to the cable, I would not want it to be a problem/limitation of the QMTech I/O board.
