Planning to start a poetry club/circle in Coimbatore because I couldn't find any. Anyone interested?
I've been part of book clubs in Coimbatore for years and have always loved the sense of community they create. As a poet, though, I've often felt the lack of similar spaces for poetry. Sometimes I feel the absence of conversations around poetry quite keenly.
Lately, I've been wondering what it might look like to create a more regular, community-driven space centered around poetry itself. Both Tamil and English!
I don't have the format or frequency figured out yet(just a vague idea from some poetry gatherings I have hosted), but I know I want it to be free, warm, low-pressure, non-judgemental, and welcoming to both readers and writers of poetry.
