First time travel to Kolkata from US. Will I be able to take out Indian Rupees from an ATM machine in the airport, using my US debit cart? What's the best way to get Indian Rupees: go to an exchange booth with credit card or get money out from an ATM machine? Or, should I get rupees from my bank in the US (very high fees)? Also, same question regarding taking out cash in small towns.

I will be visiting in July and was wondering how much of the Science and Industry museum is fully closed for renovations. It's not really clear from their website. I am interested in the textile mills -- is that part of the museum closed?

If it's mostly closed, are there any walking tours you would recommend that feature Manchester's role in the industrial revolution? In colonialism? In enslavement and abolition? Couldn't find anything historically oriented when I searched online.
