I’ve been on Wegovy since January 2026 and I’ve been on the 2.4 mg dose since June. I started at 246 lbs and I’m currently around 205–208 lbs.

Since around mid-July, I feel like my food noise has come back. I think about food a lot more often and I constantly feel like I want to eat. However, once I actually eat, I still can’t eat very large portions, so I can definitely tell that the medication is still having an effect on my appetite/satiety.

Have you ever felt like Wegovy stopped working or that its effects became weaker over time? Can your body eventually get used to Wegovy and make it less effective?

I know that hitting a weight-loss plateau is completely normal at some point, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I’m in Canada, and I’ve seen people on this subreddit mention taking 7.2 mg. About two months ago, I asked my nurse practitioner about it during one of my monthly follow-up appointments, and she had no idea what I was talking about.

Does anyone know if 7.2 mg is available in Canada (specifically Quebec)? Also, it seems like a huge jump from 2.4 mg to 7.2 mg.

For those of you who are on that dose, what has your experience been like? How are the side effects, appetite suppression, and overall results?
