Welds on sea mine and HMCS Sackville
I’m visiting Halifax and checked out the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and HMCS Sackville the other day. Couldn’t help but look at the welding and thought others would appreciate. I’m amazed by wartime welding, just how fast they were able to get stuff done. It ain’t pretty, but it worked. I asked some staff there to tour the engine room of HMCS Sackville as well and they graciously obliged. Highly recommend if you’re ever visiting.
