Macro for switching between original config.cfg and a quiet version

I've been running a self-built machine for the last 6-7 years. This machine has been slow & quiet, as I've upgraded it to TMC2209's a few years back.

Finally pulled the plug and bought the U1, which is magnificent in comparison, both in quality and speed!

The only caveat is that I also share my house with my wife and kids, which now are complaining all day long about the noise this beauty creates!

I saw that there are modifications one can implement (this well documented thread from u/tanvach - thanks!). My understanding is that this mod could lead to reduced quality and speed, but not confirmed that either is an issue. Worth the risk, but would be nice to keep both options available.

I would love to see Snapmaker officially offer a switch between speed / quiet, but as I understand, this could colide with given expectations from the machine, and misunderstandings from people not known with thinkering.

So, TL;DR - is it possible to create a macro that switches between two different printer.cfg's?

Plex stuck at one particular season of a show

Could anyone help me out with why this is happening?

For months now (at least since this season started), Plex has been using 100% CPU while doing some sort of scan of the files within this folder ..

I've disabled all form of "scan audio", "identify volumes" etc. etc.

Still, after a reboot and some hours, the scanner finds itself stuck here..

A bit of context:

Unraid with binhex-plexpass docker

TMC AutoTune

I just saw this fantastic video on YouTube, and it got me thinking about enabling TMC AutoTune.
On my previous printer I was experimenting a lot with different values and sensor less homing. At last I ended up going back to physical endstops.

How would enabling auto tune on the U1? Could there be downsides of issues with homing etc due to reduced torque etc.?

UPDATE: I've enabled TMC Autotune under firmware_config, and restarted several times..
It seems like the script copied the file into the extended/klipper folder, but there seems to be no update in printer.cfg. No difference in noise either ..

No traces of autotune in klippy.log either .. Any clues? 😄

I have been 3D-printing for almost 10 years, starting out with a self-assembled I3-clone which, to be honest, wasn’t very good … but not even once have I been facing these blobs that numerous people are posting here.

Is there a firmware bug causing this, is the included build plate so poorly made that prints doesn’t stick, and if any of the topics; why doesn’t the AI functionality stop the print?

Is this something to be worried about?
