So my asshole friend has introduced me to a new expensive hobby that I don’t need. I haven’t really had time to fully dive in yet research-wise, but so far it seems like 2 good options for intermediate level is the Traxxas TRX-4 (non-sport) and the RGT Challenger Pro. I would mainly want to ride on trails/crawl, not really concerned about going fast and/or jumping.. yet. So, here are my questions:

1.) are these 2 options good picks? and if so, which would you recommend between the 2?
2.) is there a better option in this bracket of rc car?
3.) how is aftermarket support for both of these rigs?

I will probably have many more questions once I have a chance to fully dive in and research thoroughly. I have experience with DJI drones, but those are nothing like these, so I’ve gotta learn. Thanks in advance!

Whenever I use my rear brake, the light stays on and will only go off either after like 5 mins or if I wiggle the black piece circled in the pics. I assume it’s something to do with that, but I don’t really know what to do with it.

After saving for a very long time, and landing a new job that pays handsomely, I finally bought my dream truck at 23 years old. 2016 1794 edition with 77,500 miles. It was taken care of very well except for some cosmetic stuff, but CarMax set me up an appt to fix it all. Did I overpay? Yes. Do I care? Not really.
