I just bought this house. The oregano was overgrown and there was so much dead woody steams underneath. Did I handle this correctly or did I like damage it? Any tips?

I’m new to European wine. Tried my first Albarino this weekend. I’m now obsessed. It’s my new favorite white wine type. The bottle was O Filla da Condesa from Rias Baixas. Loved the mineral and saline vibes. $12 from total wine. What are your favorite Albarinos?
