unable to find a cna job

my cna certification became active over a month ago, and i’ve been applying to jobs. i got rejected from multiple hospitals, which is understandable since they prefer/require you to have at least a year of cna experience. however, i also applied to nursing homes since they’re more likely to hire new cnas, but i still haven’t heard back from any of them. i don’t know if this is just a me problem or what. it’s driving me nuts!!! what do i do? i’m deadass thinking about walking into a facility to beg for a job.

cc transfer for nursing

hi! i am currently a cc student hoping to transfer to seattle u’s nursing program for fall 2027. these are my current stats:

- 3.98 gpa

- volunteer at swedish

i will be doing a three week cna course in july and can hopefully land a job after that. that said, how are my stats looking so far? should i involve myself in more extracurriculars?

as for grades, i think i am doing pretty well. i am currently taking intro to chem, which is my last pre-req for su nursing. i am doing good, but i definitely don’t think i will get a 4.0 because my professor is super picky when it comes to grading. although it seems unlikely that my gpa will drop drastically despite not getting a perfect grade.

any tips/advice is greatly appreciated!
